Cabin: Mid-Ship Balcony

We decided to book a 7-night cruise with NCL for our honeymoon as we'd cruised on the Norwegian Pearl several years ago and had a wonderful experience. The price was right, so we upgraded to a balcony stateroom for this trip; that stateroom turned out to be about the only truly positive thing I can say about the trip. (If you're deciding whether or not to upgrade, do it. It's completely worth it.) The rest of the trip was a mixture of terrible customer service, mediocre (albeit plentiful) food, herding through crowds of people, and decisions on whether to sit around bored all day or pay extra money to enjoy the ship's amenities.

The Good:

-As I mentioned above, the balcony stateroom was great. Our stateroom attendant, Richard, was also great and extremely helpful.

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BB

The room was very nice and a good location mid-ship. It wasn't too close to the elevator so you didn't get a lot of noise in the hall, but it wasn't too far of a walk either. You get a lot of noise from the pool deck on the balcony, especially during the day when they're doing the Nickelodeon shows on the deck and using the microphone. We had plenty of storage in the small room. It's a little weird how there is no bathroom. They just have a shower and a toilet which are both able to be closed off by sliding (frosted) glass doors. However, I would have preferred an actual bathroom so I didn't feel weird having to "do my business" in the same room as my new husband.
