First let me say that any cruise is better than no cruise. :) With NCL being my preferred cruise line, I wanted to try the Epic. I was disappointed with the lay out of this ship, and I found the cabin to be very strange in it's set-up. The ship is still in great shape, very well taken care of. Did I have a good time??...Yes, but will I book another cruise on the Epic, NO. I'm still trying to put my finger on exactly why I disliked this ship, and can't seem to find One main reason. It seemed like I spent much of my time walking from Forward to Aft, and there are only two sets of elevators, Forward and Aft, none mid ship. I think my biggest disappointment was with the cabin, please see my cabin review in the Deck Plans section.

The Entertainment seemed to be a little lame, except for the Blue Man Group. You got the feeling that the entertainers had done this "one too many times", lacking the energy needed. With that being said, many of the ship staff seem that they also need a vacation. I met many smiling staff faces, but also ran into some NOT happy people that seemed not to care how they treated their guests. I had more issues, that took way too much time to resolve, on this cruise than any other. For example, half way thru the cruise, they decided that my Ultimate Dining Package was never paid for....WRONG. This took 4 visits to Guest Service to get it straighten out with less then Guest friendly,helping Staff.

I feel bad giving this honest review, I LOVE NCL, just not this ship.
