My husband and I love cruising. This was our 21st cruise. We are both in our early 60's. We were ready to see and feel some warm weather since we live in TN. We flew to Miami on the day of the cruise and easily got a taxi for $25.00 to the cruise port. The taxi was less than 30 minutes. Since we live near the Nashville airport, this is easy for us to do. We have cruised Norwegian several times and knew pretty much what to expect. As we often do, we chose to pull our luggage onto the ship. That way we can unpack and feel settled. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, in fact almost too comfortable. We found we enjoyed napping a lot. The ship was larger, but with fewer elevators, thus a long wait for an elevator. We did like that this ship had an atrium (while not really large nor tall enough) it was better than no atrium at all. (Last cruise on Independence of the Sea). Also, you could go to the information desk at any time and sign up for the shows.(Much better than RC, where we did not realize only 2 hrs. on first sea day to sign up) therefore missed all the shows. We also found that you could get into almost all the shows with no trouble. We saw" Burn the Floor"," Legally Blond" and the Grammy Experience. All were above average for cruise shows. We ate at O'Shea's several times, in the regular dining room and a few times in the Lido. I really don't like getting my plate and then trying to get us something to drink while my hubby keeps out table. Also, the glasses are way too small. We did not purchase any specialty restaurant meals. While lobster, shrimp cocktails, and crème brulee were missing, the food was regular cruise food; not bad, but not anything really special. There were always chairs around the pool area and the people patrolled it very well. We also enjoyed the atrium entertainment on sea days. The variety was excellent. As always, the service by all personnel was excellent. We have never traveled with our children and grandchildren but we saw many extended families whom seem to enjoy themselves. We chose to self disembark. This was extremely easy and we were in a cab and at the airport in less than 30 minutes. All in all, a good cruise.

Cabin IB

I did not like that there were no drawers in this cabin. Also no couch nor chair. Location was a long walk, but was quiet.
