We choose the Caribbean Connoisseur which was a voyage lasting 14 days and departing on December 19, 2014, with Princess Cruises for that it offered the best itinerary to visit the Caribbean (St. Thomas, St. Barthelemy, St. Kitts and Nevis, Trinidad, Barbados, Martinique, Antigua, Virgin Gorda). We enjoyed very much our cruise : 2 days at sea to relax at the beginnning and also at the end and 1 day at sea in the middle of the journey. The ports of call were well selected and the shore excursions were well organized. We loved very much the US and BVI Islands and Martinique. The mid-ship (684 passengers) Ocean Princess had excellent facilities and services, the staff was friendly and helpful and the cabin was a good size and comfortable.

Before the departure, we stayed at the Ocean B Resort in Fort Lauderdale. The check-in was fast and the room average. The check-out was slow and it took a long time to get back our luggages from the bell boy. The transfer from hotel to the ship was fast so we boarded at 12:30 and after showing our passports at the terminal, we got our key card and we were directed to our Balcony Room (# 7077).

The luggage came about one hour after the arrival in our room. The stateroom was exactly as expected: a very comfortable queen bed, a large window door giving on the balcony with a table and 2 chairs. It is compact but convenient and we had enough room to store all our things. The bathroom was small but efficient. The room was cleaned twice a day.
