We recently returned from a 7 day cruise and it was our first cruise for a family of four. We did our research and chose Royal Caribbean from friends recommendations. I thought the food was great at the buffet or the dining halls. We pre booked all our meals while flex dining and pre booked all of our show times and never waited in line once for our dining or any of the shows that we took in. ( As a previous post mentioned they could not get into any shows they obviously didn't book ahead. The kids enjoyed the Kids Clubs and found them to have plenty of activities during all hours of the day. The shows were excellent and I found the staff members friendly and very accommodating.

We took part in two off shore excursions. The first was in Labadee were we took a smaller boat to a secluded beach for some sun and a ride on Dragon's Tail roller coaster. This was a great way to spend a few hours off the ship. The second was a "Fury" catamaran/snorkel/beach excursion for a half day in Cozumel. This was our favorite excursion. The snorkeling was a lot of fun and the private beach was beautiful. The staff on the "Fury" were great hosts and the drinks were welcomed.

My family and I have done a lot of travelling over the years and I would have no problem recommending this vacation to anyone. There is lots to do for everyone.
