This was my fifth cruise overall but first Norwegian cruise. I have done 2 Royal Caribbean cruises and 2 Carnival cruises. The ship was extremely clean and the staff was very friendly. I was disappointed that the rock wall was not open but I enjoyed the pools and the lounge areas. I especially liked the big round lounge chairs on the forward part of the sundeck. We used one of the hot tubs the first night on the ship and it was warm enough by the first day at sea to swim in the pool.

We regretted taking a room in the front of the ship because it was loud and it felt much rockier. I usually prefer to be mid-ship but we weren't able to move to another cabin. The freestyle dining was great because it was so flexible. In the past, I have had to choose a seating time for dinner when booking the cruise. This was great because we didn't have to rush or plan our schedule around dinner. The food was great and there were a lot of options. The desserts were much better in the dining areas than they were at the buffet. The ultimate beverage package was definitely worth it. We got it for free when we upgraded our room from interior to obstructed view.

Overall, we had a wonderful trip, minus one rough day at sea. I would definitely choose Norwegian again when booking a cruise.
