Having sailed on the Legend Of The Seas on it's inaugural year in Alaska in 1995 my wife and I were looking forward to boarding her again. It being now the smallest ship in the RCCL fleet it was a pleasant change from the mega ships of today. Seems to be fitting our lifestyle as we get older.
The main centrum always hosted live music in the early evening hours up until later in the evening ith two or three live bands entertaining the guest while in return we were entertained with moves by many young at heart who could still boogie ! I am afraid you will have to look hard for much live music nightly on the bigger ships which is a big disappointment.
The food was great especially those carved beef loin sandwiches offered in the Park Cafe located in the solarium which was always a quiet retreat when needed.
Had accessible inside cabin so plenty of room. Only problem was keeping water in the shower because no threshole to contain it if ship moving. Took three towels sometime to get the pool of water from front of sink.A bead of caulk or at least something would have helped. Other than the water issue just fine.
