Arrived in Ft. Lauderdale the night before the cruise. Unfortunately hotels.com had booked us in a hotel that was closed. Our flight landed at 9:30. By the time we had everything figured out and re arranged it was after midnight when we arrived at the hotel. We ended up staying the night at the Residence Inn. The hotel was brand new and beautiful. The staff was excellent and the free breakfast in the morning was great.

I'd pre arranged for my mother and aunt to go on the ship as part of the Bon Voyage Experience (BVE) ($39 pp) to have lunch and tour the ship. They picked us up at the hotel and we were at the port dropping off the luggage within a half hour. The line of cars to drop of the luggage was quite long. If not, it only should have taken us about 10 minutes to get there!

As they were part of the BVE we were ushered right though and checked in right away. Before we knew it we were boarding the ship. Embarkation was easy breezy!!!

Cabin Review

Deluxe Balcony

Cabin DW

The cabin was typical for Princess. Nothing more, nothing less. It is an obstructed Balcony. You can see the top of the lifeboat from your balcony but can see straight out to sea, no problem. The room was quiet with no outside noise. One caution....make sure you remove any wood hangers you aren't using. If not, they will knock against the back wall of the closet all night long potentially keeping you awake!
