We just got back from the 2-8 western caribe cruise. It was our first time on a big ship and overall we had a great time. We had previously done 2 trips on Silverseas and 3 0n Seaborne . We were not expecting the same level of service etc so we were happy with what we got.
overall the ship was in great shape and it was fun to explore what a big ship can offer. the room and veranda were small but for just 7 days that was more than adequate.
We made two decisions before sailing that proved to be correct ones at least for us. We bought the 5 night dining package and the premium beverage package. Our experience in the MDR for 2 nights was less than delightful. It is big , crowded and noisy . we were traveling alone so we were assigned to a 6 top , which was fine , but we ended up alone for the 2 night sitting next to a bunch of kids.

we thought the room was fine for a one week cruise . Nice deck and seating on the veranda . The room a bit small for in room dining so we did not do room service Their was adequate storage for clothes for a week or so.
