Just back from a delightful cruise on Summit to Southern Caribbean. Weather was perfect sunny and in the 80's everyday. The ship was clean and the service was excellent. Check in was speedy, and they had separate lines for all the Captain's Club people. We are still select but its close the next cruise will get us to the next level. Our cabin attendant Marvin greeted us and I explained our requests for 4 towels daily and he followed through with it. He quickly serviced our cabin every morning and evening, though only 1 towel animal and no chocolates on the pillow. I was told this was a policy change and that soon they will be resuming the chocolates due to customer requests. There was really no issue with getting pool chairs for us anyway. The ports were ok. we did not take tours as we have been to these islands before. Our goal was no get warm and avoid the snow and ice. We did get off and walk around the ports.

We did take the 3 dinner specialty restaurant package and enjoyed 2 dinners in the Normandie and 1 nite in Quisine. . They were delightful. The other evenings we ate in the Buffet and found the food tasty and varied. It was just what we wanted. Last years trip found the service in the main dining room to be way too slow so we avoided the hassle.

Very much enjoyed the Thallasotherapy pool in the Solarium. Spent a great deal of time floating around in warm water. Really helped my knees!
