I have been on many cruise lines but I was very excited about my first Celebrity Cruise! Having heard and read everything about Celebrity I expected this cruise line to be "top notch!" I cruised in a balcony cabin alone with two of my friends in another cabin. Let me say none of the less flattering things I have to say in any way detracted from my enjoyment of this cruise!!!
Embarkation took forever!! I arrived at the pier at 1pm. Got in line maybe 15 minutes later. It was 315 by the time I actually stepped foot on the ship! Lines were very slow. But after I was on I was a very happy camper!
Beautiful ship! We had the premium beverage package and the 5 night dining plan. I firmly believe if you are a good tipper you get your drinks faster. It proved to be true. By second night all the bartenders recognized me and my 2 handsome companions! Service was great every night The Molecular Bar was also a pleasant way to spend a few hours with great service.

My cabin was nicely done. My room steward introduced himself on the first day and then I never saw him again! I never had ice which I would have liked. People next door smoked and it kept coming into my balcony so I did not use it much. One night with no smoking I left the door open but the noise from deck 6 was deafening!! All and all I paid double for a balcony room and did not end up using it at all!
