This was a last minute Valentines Day getaway. The check-in process at the new cruise Terminal 1 in Port Canaveral went very smoothly. I think we parked the car, went through security, checked in, and were on the boat within 15 minutes. The staff onboard were probably some of the most energetic and friendly crew I have ever seen on Royal Caribbean. The food on board was typical Royal Caribbean, nothing over the top but consistently good. If you are more of a foodie / looking to be wowed try sister cruise line Celebrity. The entertainment on board was excellent for such a short cruise. The guest comedians / entertainers were actually quite funny and not cheesy as I have seen on previous cruises. The production show on the last night was also excellent and not to be missed; definitely on par with the Freedom/Oasis class ships as far as the singers and dancers go. I can not give much advise about our port of call in Nassau as we did not get of the ship. The winds/waves were too high for us to make a stop the next day in Coco Cay (which I here is common in the winter) so we had an unscheduled day at see. The crew did a great job in creating additional activities / things to do with that unscheduled day at sea. This was my 8th cruise with Royal Caribbean and although it was short and on a smaller ship, it definitely ranks among my top 3 favorite.
Just your average ocean view stateroom, nothing to write home about. Clean, comfortable, and functional. Quick walk to the centrum elevators.
