This was a wonderful cruise that my husband and I took to introduce our friends to cruising. This was their first cruise and it was our 15th. We had been on Enchantment of the Seas before and it was just as wonderful as I remembered it. We got to the port about 9:30 in the morning and was on the ship by 10:30am. The DiamondPlus, Pinnacle and Suite guests were boarded before us but this went fairly quickly. Once onboard, the waiters were not ready for guests as the drinks were not set up as they normally are when guests get on the ship. They also had to manually give out receipts for drinks for the first couple of hours. This caused an issue at the end of the cruise - our friends were charged 5 times for their drink package but Royal Caribbean fixed the issue once it was brought to their attention. The ship was very clean and everyone was very friendly.

Our cabin was very clean and luggage came by 4:30pm. Our cabin steward was wonderful and very cheery. The cabin we were in was a balcony cabin that had more than adequate amount of storage. The bathroom was what you would expect on a cruise but could use some updating. They still had the shower curtain rather than the shower door. The Muster Drill was 30 minutes but I was disappointed with the way the crew were treated by other guests (playing on cell phones after asked to not be on their phones, talking while we were given instructions and trying to sit down). I understand the muster drill is boring but being respectful for 30 minutes should not be difficult.

The windjammer food was ok and what was expected. We had a dinner at Chops Grille and the food was very good but I would have just have enjoyed the MDR instead of incurring the additional charge. The MDR was very clean, food was great and the waitstaff was impeccable.

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

Our cabin was very clean and luggage came by 4:30pm. Our cabin steward was wonderful and very cheery. The cabin we were in was a balcony cabin that had more than adequate amount of storage. The bathroom was what you would expect on a cruise but could use some updating. They still had the shower curtain rather than the shower door. There was plenty of room to store your bathroom items however not much counter space but it was adequate also.
