We sailed out of New York on Jan. 30th for a 10 day cruise in the Eastern Caribbean that visited San Juan, Tortola, St Maarten and St Thomas. Embarkation went very smoothly and we were on the ship eating lunch in the Garden Cafe in about 20 minutes. Our cabin was a outside porthole view room and was very clean and neat.

Food on the cruise was good although it was almost the same thing all the time with a few variations. We did eat in Le Bistro, one of the specialty restaurants one night but it was not anything special especially for the extra $20.00 per person that they charge. Escargot was very good but the filet of beef was over cooked and really very tasteless and my wife's salmon was good. The specialty restaurants on board could charge a lot less for their cover charges especially when food is already covered in your fees. A $10.00 maximum per restaurant would be very sufficient seeing as the food in these restaurants really isn't all that different than what you get in the Grand Pacific and Magenta. Otherwise the food was adequate and we found breakfast and lunch good as we ate in either the Garden Cafe or the grill near the pool. The lunch time BBQ's were quite good once we got to warmer climates.

Entertainment was fair as the revues were good by the singers and dancers but the rest of the entertainment was poor at best. The one juggler/comedian was very very poor and we left before he was done.
