I can't explain how incredible our cruise was. I read a bunch of reviews about how horrible the ship was, etc.

Husband and I are in our mid 30's, we took our 3 kids, and my in-laws (in their late 60's/early 70's). The age range was from 3-72. Fun was had by all. I will piece meal each piece the best I can:

Shore excursions: I had a tough time finding excursions to fit the needs of our group. Because my youngest is young, most of the trips seems a little on the bus tour side. We ended up renting a car in Maui for two days. Getting a rental car was easy and efficient! I went through Costco to get the car and paid $215 total for a van for two days. We went all around the island as we pleased. In Hilo, we rented another car and went to see a volcano. My in laws went ziplining which they said was incredible! In Kona, we did the Big Island Snorkel shore excursion. The boat rocked a lot, and I was disappointed with the lack of fish that we saw. It wasn't a bad trip, as the crew was super nice, but I expected something different. In Kauai, we rented a car again. The first day we went to the crater and saw the waterfalls. We ended up going to Poipu beach after that. Again, all cars were rented through costco.com and I feel like we saved a lot of money. My in-laws went on a helicopter ride the last day on Kauai and really enjoyed it! We booked it through Island Helicopter I believe. Saved $100 per person booking it that way. My husband and I stayed on board while the kids played in kids club. Which leads me to my next area~

Cabin Review

Penthouse with Large Balcony

The room was fine. Fit four of us comfortably. Our party of seven had two joined rooms. Our stewardess (Vilma) and our Butler (George) were excellent.
