Husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Breakaway and the Bermuda itinerary! I do a lot of research before booking anything so I was not disappointed. Embarkation seemed a bit longer than I have had in the past, but we showed up on time rather than I normally do close to the end of the boarding times. It was well organized, no issues. The ship is HUGE and you really notice it as you arrive at the terminal. We really only noticed the number of passengers though when it was time for the entertainment in the atrium, i.e. some of the Deal or No Deal & Not so Newlywed Game and then the Fire & Ice show. There was not enough room/seating ability to see for these things so you learned to get there early to grab a rail seat or a chair down by the guest services desk. That was the only time we got a bit irked because we were REALLY wanting to enjoy everything. The staff was all great and the shows were fabulous: Rock of Ages was great (we went twice even), the Second City Comedy and the Howl at the Moon Piano Bar was amazing (we spent almost every night there), Fire & Ice rocked it out as well! She was incredible! The water slides and the Ropes course on the ship were just a BONUS and a ton of fun! We had a mini-suite balcony cabin and LOVED it, the balcony could have been a bit bigger but it was ok for seeing the dolphins on day 2 swimming along side the ship which was a very cool experience I must say! The mini-suite balcony room had plenty of room for us two, the storage was great (under the bed was great) and the closets were a nice size! The bathroom was so big with a double sink even and a two (or there person) shower with fantastic body jets. Bring an old credit card to stick in the slot so the lights and electricity will work in the room, otherwise you can just use your room key. We never went to the spa or the main dining rooms, so cant speak to those. We were pleased with the food and attendants at the Buffet and O'Sheehan's and the Grill. If you like Martini's or Margarita's I HIGHLY recommend the "Tastings" they have! You get PLENTY of tastes for a reasonable cost!! The shops were great too and even some great sales (and I am a cheap skate!) I found some "I Love NY" with the skyline XXL t-shirts that I thought were on sale for $12 and here they rung up at $4 a piece so I went and grabbed a few more!

Bermuda - well, that is amazing in itself. Hands down my favorite place that I have ever been in the Caribbean and even Hawaii. We had a one day stop there one other cruise and I picked this itinerary because of the two nights docked there so we got 3 full days in Bermuda! I could go on and on about it, we didn't pay for any excursions as I just bought us bus passes and we went where we wanted (mainly beaches and snorkeling). I knew I was sold on Norwegian though after a long full day where we were soaked due to a rainstorm most the day and not much shelter (heck, we were snorkeling anyways) but froze on the ferry on the way back due to the rain and wet clothes - upon returning to the ship the crew had warm bath towels for us returning! The other nice thing the two nights/three days was having the towel bins right outside before getting back on the ship so you could dump your dirties and pick up new clean ones right there. The other day we were smoldering from the heat all day in Bermuda, the crew had iced washcloths for us upon hitting the scanners before returning to the ship. The last day leaving Bermuda was sad, but upon entering the terminal, the crew had planned a jam party with music and dancing as we boarded to get us back in the mood! Due to the bad weather on the route home, we didn't get the Firework display :( and the White Hot Party got canned after about 20 minutes since it began raining :( The seas were NOT pleasant on the return to New York and the captain kept us informed of the swells which I think got up over 20 feet so it was challenging for me to stay un-sea sick. We absolutely will be going on NCL again (Alaska on the Jewel soon) and will be heading to Bermuda again as well.
