Majesty of the Seas - March 23-26, 2007

Day 1 I am 27 and this was my first cruise. I traveled with my friend, also 27, and also her first cruise. I live in Miami, so I drove to the port and parked at the Garage across the street from the cruise terminal. We got there a little after 11am. We only had carry-on sized luggage, so we decided to carry our luggage on rather than check it. There is water (with fruit in it) and lemonade at the terminal while you wait to board the ship. We were on the ship around 11:40. Had lunch at Windjammer, there was pasta, salad, mexican, and asian. Also had a Pina Coloda in a souvenir glass. The drink of the day was tequila Sunrise, but they also had Bahama mamas at the same price. We did not purchase a soda card, but the cups looked nice.

After we ate, we sat in the seating area near the window on deck 4 (the deck our room was on) and waited until we could dump our luggage at 1pm. We went to the Spa (got a few freebies) and Gym tour. Signed up for a free seminar on how to get a flatter tummy. The seminar was a bit disappointing, as it was really a sales pitch to get a detox program. We went to the Nassau Shopping talk. Scott was great, but it was geared towards jewelry buying. Next was the Muster Drill. Pretty painless. We went back to our room and met Ann, our room steward. She was amazing.
