We booked this cruise 12 months earlier and throughout 2014 we were told and read lots of negative reports from friends as well as other critics.

How wrong could they be!!!

We have been on 6 cruises previously with RC & Princess but we now rate Celebrity our favorite. The ship (Solstice) was beautiful, clean, modern and big. The service was excellent right throughout the ship from room attendants through to waiters and drink waiters. All bars were open on a regular basis and so easy to get the drinks of choice. Entertainment was spot on with something happening everywhere. Our favorite was the Sky lounge after the show each night, with The Smart Casuals playing rock n roll each night. The food was lovely the main dining room our favorite for dinner each night. Overall we recommend Celebrity for cruising and we will certainly be back.

The room was modern and we'll presented. Our room attendants were friendly and helpful always.
