This was cruise #28 for us.The embarkation was about 30 minutes. Very easy and well organized. The baggage was at our cabin when we were allowed to go to our deck,at about 1:30 p.m. The food was plentiful and of very good quality. We had one meal in the dining room at dinner that was not to good.other than that all of our dining experiences were very good. The ports of call were#1 St. marten , very good. #2 St. Lucia, did not care much for that. #3 was St. Kitts, we liked that quite well, we did not wander far from the pier shopping area.If you take this cruise and wan t to buy jewelry buy it at St. Marten, by far the best prices. The ship is all but spotless, you would never know that it was 5 years old. We had an outside cabin with french doors, large enough lots of storage and very nice, king size bed. The entertainment was average, to good. The captain was the most friendly guy you can imagine, he was always around the ship.He made an announcement everyday at noon to let us know where we were, and through in a little humor,By far the best Captain I have ever sailed with. We really enjoyed this cruise, one of the best we have been on.We sailed Carnival about 10yrs. ago and were not impressed, but I will have to say the last few Carnival cruises have really impressed us, and it seems they continue to get better. Now last but not least the Debarkation, they started the self debarkation at about 7:30 p.m. We were of the ship and in our car at 8:30p.m. and we use park and fly so we had to wait for the bus. It was a very, very good cruise. Thanks Carnival for a wonderful time!!!
