I was hesitant from the reviews, however RC must be taking note as we had a brilliant experience in so many ways due to the staff, the food and the delightful design. There is so much to do be it the most relaxing or participating in high energy activities either winning or losing, succeeding or failing, all great fun. Highlight being the ice skating. Saw the show twice and skated four times. Activities manager Darryl and Cruise director Chris were the head of a very good team. Staff were everywhere and the journey felt very safe and sound. Entertainment was flawless. Games tables and library well kept.

Free snacks and beverages are available 24 hrs at the cafe located mid ship on the promenade deck. I tend to keep food out of the room unless I have a suitable place to eat. Running up and down stairs is much better for your digestion so whenever you can, take the stairs. The view from the glass elevators is quite spectacular and better taken when most people are absent. You can see everything from so many places either outdoors or indoors so discover all the spots in plenty of time so that you can quickly choose your ideal place as opportunities arise. We had no trouble assessing the situations and getting our ideal vantage points in great comfort. If you are on a budget, as we were, keep it simple. Take what is offered for free and pay only as you go for special wants and needs. The Australian wine is cheaper by the bottle and the leftover is served the next night. We enjoyed a few cocktails here and there for special events and drank the tap water instead of soda and we remained healthy. For kids there is a very delicious sweet cordial. I do suggest that the buffet is best approached with hygiene in mind. Use a cloth to handle the serving utensils if you are sensitive to bacteria, look for items that are still in place rather than those which may have been handled and then put back. If you are very sensitive then only eat in the MDR...all the meals there are very safe, delicious and portion controlled. My companion has a food allergy and the wait staff remembered and had dishes prepared without that ingredient, no tomato even on the Italian themed night...brilliant service from Meng.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin H

Cabin 3722 is in a very handy to MDR, photos and Studio B, in a quiet location an the size of the window is amazing. Block out curtains are very effective, there is also a thin shade for privacy in port that you can see through. Anything amiss was fixed quickly by leaving a note on the bed to communicate to the cabin staff who kept the room immaculate. Tea kettle is a nice touch, and the mini fridge is full of handy items if you need them. Beds were very comfortable with two plush pillows each, luxury sheets and room underneath to store the suitcases. Plenty of storage space including wooden coat hangers, shelving and draws. Bathroom: strong adult size toilet, sufficient and effective towels, long lasting soap bars replaced when thin, shampoo/ conditioner dispenser, detachable shower head, footrest and glass shower screen with non slip floor, hanging line for wet swimmers. Lots of mirrors in all the right places. Couch was okay but not in the room much to use it, too many other great places to be, was handy for unpacking and packing suitcases. The interactive screen is clever to keep track of your bill. The TV works well but didn't watch it much as spent most of the time outside of the room. Was very surprised to find a huge library of movies to suit all tastes and needs for rent on the interactive TV. If you were confined to your room, this would be excellent.
