Returned last week from our cruise aboard the QOS. We were on the January 23 rd sailing to the Caribbean. Embarkation was a breeze as we did our pre registration online. We arrived at the port at around 10:20 and we were on board by 11:00 a.m. Rooms were not ready before 1:00.
The ship is by far one of the most magnificent vessels I ever sailed on and I have taken about 27 cruises. She is a beauty and you can tell a lot of thought went into its planning down to the finite details. Even though there were 4200 passengers onboard we never felt that we were amongst them. There are so many quiet areas throughout the ship that are quite beautiful as well as an indoor pool, outdoor pool and a magnificent solarium. Plenty of seating in all areas.
Entertainment was top notch. Mama Mia as good as any performance on the Broadway stage. Starwaters is a definite that you shouldn't miss. We loved it so much we saw it twice. Didn't love Sonic Odessey performance. Guest entertainers were good as well. We booked all of our entertainment prior to the cruise as well as our dining.
D3 Balcony cabin 13182 was very well appointed with lots of storage and space to move around. The bed was a little hard but had no problems sleeping. Nice to have a shower door. The bed was near the balcony so you can look out which was really nice. Also loved that you could access the Solarium from this deck.
