This was my first time cruising with Carnival. I had been a little hesitant with everything that has occurred the last few years in the Carnival family but couldn't pass up the deal I got.

An old friend went with me for a girls cruise and she has cruised with Carnival a lot.

We arrived in Fort Lauderdale on the 17th and stayed at Tropirock up in north Fort Lauderdale. Kind of a cute little hotel about 2 blocks from the beach. Room was very clean, beds were comfortable but water pressure left a bit to be desired. There is no elevator so be prepared. Staff was phenomenal there.

Balcony

Cabin 8A

Unless you like to sit up till the late show in the theater is over this isn't the cabin for you. It is right above the theater where the speakers are mounted on the ceiling. Needless to say very noisy and beds actually vibrated from the noise.
