I booked this cruise a year in advance. I read many of the reviews on Cruise Critic leading up to booking the cruise, and since returning I have read a few of the more recent postings. It is amazing what reasons people can find to give this cruise a low rating. I generally don’t give a 5 star rating to much of anything, but I had such low expectations of this cruise that I was pleasantly surprised with the way things turned out. I was expecting a low budget ship, with a cranky crew and sub-par food. That wasn’t the case.

Embarkation – We arrived at the port around 3:30 p.m. and were on the ship in no time. No problems at all.

Cabin – We were in an inside cabin, 7675. It was small and had what appeared to be a bunk bed mounted to the wall. However, it wasn’t any worse than what we have stayed in on other ships. The bed was comfortable and I slept well the entire week.

Cabin was small, but I am used to small cabins on cruise ships. First time I had a bunk bed mounted to the wall, though. The main bed(s) was comfortable.
