We are loyal Royal Caribbean cruisers (diamond plus) and have been on new ships before (Oasis). While there were a few glitches on Oasis in the beginning Quantum had many, starting with Dynamic Dining. We made our reservations before boarding but it took 3 tries on the phone (internet did not work) before we finally got the reservations. When confirmations were not received we would call back and there would be no record of the reservations in the system. The only times we could get were 8:45 or later so no entertainment offerings were able to be seen. Service in ALL venues was poor (except Grande and Chic). The attitudes of dining room staff was surly as was the attitude of some Guest Services staff. There are not enough venues available for breakfast and not a long enough time frame to serve breakfast in the few available venues. One morning it took about 1 hour for my breakfast to be served in American Icon Grille. My tablemates (husband, daughter and son-in-law) all got their meals in about 40 minutes. One possible suggestion to improve Dynamic Dining would be to have early and late seatings to choose from in any venue you choose. This would make it easier to schedule entertainment options. Our favorite spot for lunch was Café 270 with roast beef sandwiches to die for!

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D5

We had a great room attendant. Kind of far from elevators for a handicapped accessible cabin.
