I just returned from a back to back on the Celebrity Summit. I found the ship to be pleasing and the staff wonderful. The major problem I had was the hair dryer! I had to constantly "hold the button in" if I wanted to dry my hair. When I complained to guest services, I was told they are all like that. I could see residue on my hair dryer where a previous user had used masking tape to keep the button in the on position! As I told guest services, it must have been a man who chose those hair dryers because it was very difficult to hold the button in and dry and style your hair! So, bottom line is, yes they have hairdryers, BUT bring your own.
And the "liife activities" on board ship left a lot to be desired. Didn't seem like there was much of interest to do if one stayed on the ship or came back from port early. Since I've been to the Caribbean several times, I did not sign up for many excursions but instead walked into the port towns and explored.
I couldn't have been more pleased with the dining room staff who served my husband and me. Both weeks we had wonderful waiters who were very attentive and the food was very good.
Very nice, plenty of room if you stored your suit cases under the bed with some of your clothes in them. We were back to back cruisers so we had to pack for 2 weeks. That's why we used the "under the bed" storage.
