First of all, I respect all reviews posted here at Cruise Critic. I understand each person has a different experience and maybe there were some people in our same cruise that didn't like their experiences. I'm just giving my point of view and I would like to share it with everyone here.
This was my 8th cruise and the 4th with Royal Caribbean. As I like everything related to new technologies I was attracted by the features offered by RCL for the Quantum of the Seas when I first learn about it on June 2014. I didn't hesitate to book this cruise for my family (12 YO daughter and wife).
However after reading the first reviews for QOS here at Cruise Critic I started to feel depressed about my choice. I knew it was a new ship and the first sailings would have some problems but the level of complaints was so high it concerned me a lot.
Compared with other cruises I was in, this was the best cabin. The virtual balcony was an excellent idea and we had a sensation we had a real balcony for us. Enough space for storage and the bathroom was excellent, considering it was a cruise cabin and not a regular hotel room. The shower was really good. The TV screen was huge but it didn't have many channels but I didn't care. Who is going to a cruise to watch TV in a cabin?
