I just returned from my Sensation cruise. The experience was very enjoyable. The ship is conveniently laid out, she is exceptionally clean, almost sanitary, the crew was always courteous and helpful. The ship is about 20 years old but all rugs, fittings and carpeting look in top condition. There was sound or vibration from the engines. A/C works well and there was plenty of hot water. Bathrooms were extra clean, modern and worked very well. The beds were surprisingly top grade, confortable and the pillows and blankets were top quality. Cabin services were always exceptional and the rooms were always made up morning and evenings.

The food varied from very good to just O.K. The Captain's dinner was really special and memorable. There are two formal dining rooms serviced by attentive, experienced waiters. The experience was pleasurable dining every day. The informal Lido deck offers the most food options and freedom. Just try not to eat everything! Eat as much as you want. The best on the Lido deck are the custom omelets during breakfast, the Mongolian Wok stir fry for lunch, I noticed that the line for hamburgers was always full so draw your own opinion. Only the pastries were forgettable and baked goods were weak. After dinner, Sensation provides two shows. One is a Las Vegas style show and the other is in the Punchline Comedy Club. Plenty of other activities and gambling is all available.

Our cruise had 2,300 guests that were serviced by 900 employees. There was always assistance around for every guest's every need. A good time was had by all. The process of arrival and disembarkation was highly organized and efficient. Even customs inspection was prompt. Read more
