As a foreword: Princess' quality and character of the cruise experience seems to have diminished since Carnival took over. Maybe just a coincidence.
This ship (and its sister Regal) is touted as the new wave of cruising. We were not all that impressed when we found out it had one dance floor (The Vista Lounge) which seemed to have dance music only while we were eating at late seating. The main dancing area was the Piazza, marble floors, minimal seating. Lots of glitz but it was evident whomever thought about the layout missed so important features.
1. SAFETY...We were assigned to the Allegro dining room which can only be accessed from deck 7, down a flight of stairs, to Deck 6. There was no safety briefing on how to evacuate in case of emergency and the while there was another exit somewhere in the dining room the main exit was past the galley back up to Deck 7. Also, in the theater, there were two main access from Deck 6 and 7. The side exits could only be accessed by approaching the stage. People along the sides above Deck 6 are a virtual captive audience having to traverse to the center before exiting.
Adequate. Had to move up to this category to get room to move around
