This was our first cruise with Celebrity and won't be our last. If it's your intent to relax and experience a slow paced and pampered cruise, Celebrity is the perfect fit. If you need constant external stimuli, i.e. games, announcements over the PA system, loud and bostrius crowds, zip lines, water slides, etc., take a Carnival Cruise. Celebrity is an older crowd who has outgrown the need to bing drink until oblivious to their srroundings. I observed large numbers of people enjoying themselves by reading or participating in casual conversation while enjoying a cocktail.

PROs

Our cabin was comfortable and spotless. The bed is next to the bath with the sofa next to the balcony. It wasn't a problem, but the cabin might feel larger with the bed next to the balcony. The cabin, 1603, is located a short distance from the midship elevators which makes it convenient to navigate the entire ship. Ample closet and other storage.

Cabin Review

AquaClass 1

Cabin A1

Great location midship on deck 11. Close to elevators and quiet. Never heard our neighbors. Extra large balcony with comfortable chairs. Enjoyed the extra jets in the shower. Also enjoyed the bottle of champagne waiting for us when we reached our cabin on the first day. The complimentary bottled water, fruit, and daily canapés was a nice touch.
