My son and I cruised to the Bahamas on the Sensation January 18. The primary reason we were going was this was the least expensive trip we could get that would allow us to go scuba diving for a couple days. We had a great time aboard the ship.

My son purchased the Faster to the Fun and I was a bit skeptical, but pleasantly surprised! I will DEFINATELY do that again. We arrived at the port and went through the separate check-in without wandering through the maze with everyone else. From the time we got to the port until we were dropping off our carry-ons in our room that was waiting for us took no longer than 1/2 an hour.

I found the ship to be clean and the décor nice. For the most part all of the staff aboard the ship were very friendly and helpful. The entertainment onboard was very good. The band that played nightly by the bar near the casino were very good and most every night I ended with a trip to the piano bar where Tommy G was playing.

The room although somewhat small was very adequate for my son and myself. Having the portholes was nice giving us a view along with light.
