What part of.."I was on a cruise" is confusing?? :-)

A great cruise.. with a relatively affordable, rate. Ship was clean & crew fell all over themselves to be polite and helpful. Food was, for the most part, excellent. Some of the deserts failed to impress.. seems to have become more bland and 'factory' like. NOT a complaint! Tastes differ and I understand the need to cater to all.. but did seem to be less impressive than on other cruises. Drinks were well made and plentiful.. Alchemy Bar had premium brands mixed expertly (and impressively) by personable bartenders. (Brian was a stand out) One personal VERY MINOR disappointment was only having ONE bar indoors to smoke a cigar.. and they booked private functions there, so it was not always available. If they are going to severely limit smoking area's at LEAST have them always available.

To be completely honest I have ONLY sailed with Carnival.. (7 to date) Until they disappoint I'm going to 'dance with the one that brung me!' While I am sure there are other lines that do some things better, they will undoubtedly do some worse... I LIKE Carnival.. and DEFINITELY appreciate that, after booking I have more money left over for excursions, drinks, souvenirs , etc.
