This was our ninth cruise with eight cruise companies, including four continents. It was our least enjoyable. The ship is too big, but otherwise fine. You feel the grimey hand of bean counters and lawyers at every turn. They have reduced their service standard to one of a commodity. Little things and big things. No munchies at the bars. Ordered table service eggs four times at the breakfast mess and never got them. Mediocre quality food. Worst french onion soup on the planet! Excellent dining room table service. Nice cabin but terrible cabin service. Excellent entertainment/skating. We were late getting back to Port Canaveral as one of the propellers hit something and was damaged. They told us our slow speed was due to adverse currents and winds. You would think that Costa Concordia would have taught them that honesty always is best. Our confidence in RC in safely managing any serious crisis is shaken. The lifeboat drill was a sham.
