DH and I are in our mid and late 50's. This was our 9th cruise - 2nd on NCL. The ship was as expected. The 678 Atrium area was NOT as impressive as the atriums on Princess, but still very nice. We really enjoyed the outdoor dining (weather permitting). We did the UDP and were glad we did-enjoyed the specialties. We did the Illusionarium, and it was very good. There was very little beverage service that came to us at any time, anywhere - including in Vibe. If you want a drink, you have to go to the bar-disappointing. NCL really missed the boat on this - there should be beverage service everywhere. There was NO service of any kind in the buffet other than staff happily removing your plates. The crepe station in the evening was wonderful! The iconcierge on the phones was nice, but did not have our dining reservations on them. If you book anything ahead of the cruise, double check once onboard as they had changed some of my supposedly "confirmed" times/excursions. The bathrooms were VERY large - nice change from all other ships we have been on. There are only 2 outlets in the room - take something to extend this!! If you bring a clock-battery operated is best as the steward turns the electricity off in the room when he/she is done cleaning. While I was on the rope course, a 10-12 yo boy had a major seizure while in the middle of the course. It was very scary, especially as I watched the staff below running around very unorganized. The cruise director assured me later that there had been staff ON the course that I did not see that had gotten to him quickly. I did see the emergency line that they used to take him down and the medical team was right there working on him. VIBE passes - we were in boarding group 15 and we able to get them. Embarkation and debarkation (carried out own off) were very smooth and quick. Overall we had a good time and enjoyed the ship.
