I have previously cruised to New Zealand in December 2013 on Voyager of the Seas and decided to cruise on her again for my 60th birthday on 23rd December, hence being onboard for Christmas Day. I invited 12 family/friends and we booked early in 2014. We had a wonderful cruise and wonderful weather. It was a highlight seeing Santa on the ice-skating rink handing out gifts to over a thousand children. We visited Noumea, New Caledonia on the day of my birthday and went on the Discovery Tchou Tchou Train which was a great way to see Noumea. After docking in Lautoka, Fiji, we caught a bus and did the Nawaka Village Tour on Christmas Day. It was in a word 'Awesome'. First time in my life I have visited a traditional village overseas and I was very impressed at how we were welcomed to their village on Christmas Day. Our Christmas dinner onboard Voyager of the Seas was magical and beautiful. The food onboard is superb and I enjoyed a seafood main meal and traditional pudding for dessert. My morning ritual of having a walk around the deck and a swim prepares me for the day's activities onboard. My partner likes to relax with a book for most of the day in a quiet spot. I also love the Promenade and the sales. The main dining room is my favourite place to eat, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Promenade Stateroom

Cabin PR

We loved our Promenade Stateroom and I loved the revamped curtains and carpet. It is roomy enough for us with plenty of room for our clothes and belongings. It is also very quiet and I love peeking out the window into the Promenade to see what is happening.
