I am a platinum cruiser and this was my 12th cruise all on carnival. Embarkation was smooth and I was on the ship at about 11:30.

I had lunch at the tandoor. It was really good! Then I explored the ship. Wow! There's a lot to do on this ship! We were most excited to check out the serenity deck and the spa. The serenity deck houses the entrance to the water park. It didn't have a pool. We were pretty disappointed and did not spend much time there. We took a spa tour and I had to decide which massage to get. Oh decisions, decisions!...lol I decided to get the hot stone massage and was not disappointed. The spa figured in a 20% tip...I usually tip more but didn't this time because I didn't like to be forced to give money for a tip that was not based on service. Oh well, I guess they have to make up for people not tipping well.

Our first day we went to Nassau. I've been there several times so I just bought some stuff at the straw market and went to Senor Frogs. We had a table right by the ocean and enjoyed all of the antics of the servers!

Cabin Review

Cove Balcony

Cabin 7C

I loved the cove balcony and didn't hear anything at night. I am a pretty sound sleeper but I'm pretty sure if it really sounded like elephants I would have woken up. My travel buddy said that she heard some minor noise a couple of nights but was more disturbed by the noise on the other balconies.
