Our 6th cruise, 4th with Princess.

We agree with other posters that embarkation at Rio de Janeiro was shambolic, made more uncomfortable by the hot weather at the time. Princess need to improve here. They also need to review the tender process at Punta Arenas, where many passengers endured lengthy delays.

Other than that, our cruise experience was a dream. We had a suite this time. It was gorgeous, and in great condition. Our stateroom attendant was excellent. We returned to a freshly cleaned room after breakfast on all but a couple of days. The ship's public areas looked very well-maintained for a ship built in 2001.

Cabin Review

Cabin PH

These suites built during 2009 refit. Maintained in great condition. Spacious, lots of drawers & other storage. Quality finishes used, nice marble bath & separate shower, plus powder room. Stateroom has double entrance doors to reduce any passageway noise. Double width balcony. Really very nice accommodation.Cons: High rear location means more movement if you are prone to seasickness like me. Can sometimes hear slight noise from sports deck above. Neither was a significant problem.
