We celebrated our 30th anniversary on the Fascination. Our last cruise was 20 years ago on the Big Red Boat.so this was like cruising for the 1st time. We loved everything. The food was awesome, the entertainment was great, and the people we met were so friendly. Our tablemates at late dining were perfectly suited to us. Rondaldo was a great waiter and made the best recommendations. Our room steward did an okay job but I never met him so I don't know his name. He made cute towel animals though. The dining room staff did a wonderful job of entertaining each evening. I have to mention the ship's magician he was wonderful and stopped by our table each evening, with a new feat of magic. My favorite was when he took one lady's watch right off her arm and she swears she didn't even feel it. The casino was small but gave just enough to keep us coming back till we put it all back in. My only complaint is that Carnival has given into the non-smokers and relegated those of us who smoke to 3 tiny little areas. These areas got so crowded, that sometimes it was a feat to be able to get an ashtray. I understand non-smokers have the right to smoke-free air but smokers have rights too and shouldn't be made to feel like second class citizens And that is my only complaint about the whole cruise. The crew was friendly and helpful. Embarktion and Dembarktion was easy peasy. I think this was the perfect cruise to get my cruise legs on planning a 7 night for my next cruise.

Small but effiencient. Little shelf space in the bathroom so don't for the over door shoe bag.
