Let's start with the positive: the cabin was spacious, with a king size bed and generous amounts of storage for clothes, accessories and suitcases. Everything in the cabin worked and it was kept clean by the attendant. However, there was a large crack in the floor of the shower and black mold on the caulking on both sides of the shower stall.

The trip started badly, with the embarkation procedure taking more than two hours and ending with a walk up a very, very steep gangway. My husband and I are both senior citizens and we were not able to climb the gangway to the top pulling our carry on suitcases behind us. There were NO Celebrity employees to help us and none appeared until, having stopped less than one half the way up the gangway, we had blocked the rest of the passengers from proceeding. Then and only then a couple of Celebrity employees appeared to assist us. I heard from another passenger who witnessed the event and that an elderly gentleman had fallen on the gangway, requiring medical attention.

Our cabin was not ready for occupancy until about two hours after we boarded. We sat and waited in the Ocean View Cafe.

Cabin Review

The cabin was right below the stage of the Constellation Room which meant we heard the thumping of the bands playing in that room until the early hours of the morning. This made it difficult to get to sleep.
