Embarkation was much better than the Christmas Cunard cruise and boarded speedily
standard of food still good, we went on freedom dining as we were late bookers. Hutch a bit noisy at night and early morning from persons walking on lido deck above. Furnishing a little tired, varnish surfaces of wardrobes were bare in places. staff were their usual pleasant selves in cabins and dining rooms. Couple of good films in cinema , some had to be shown in the theatre during the day. Headliners shows usual standard, a very good comedian, Gerry Graham, and Beverley Davison a concert violinist who has amusing patter as well. I can not say much about the 'entertainment' which was not organised during the day.
We had visited all the previously except for Casablanca, glad we took the trip out to Rabat as Casablanca has little to recommend it.. quite a few showers during all trips except for fine weather in Oporto. Malaga was a very wet Sunday, we took a taxi to the car museum which is quite a way out to the edge of town at an old tobacco factory and good for a 90 minutes or more walk round. There is also vintage haute couture to relieve boredom for the ladies. Cadiz was dry but there was a biting cold wind as we wandered round.
