I will try and provide a balanced view of the Eastern Caribbean Cruise from Barbados in january.

Flights on the Dreamliner out of Birmingham was for the most part good, transfers of passengers and luggage to the ship was pretty much faultless. A negative was having to pay for a cup of tea on the plane. For £2300 free tea and coffee should be a given.

The ship itself has good facilities and from what I saw the main bars and restaurants were well staffed with staff who went out of their way to please. In the main restaurant the food was of a good quality and any issue was attended to quickly. The buffet restaurants I did not frequent that much and it is fair to say the quality is inferior but it was plentiful if not a little predictable. Sindhu the Atul Kucher restaurant was excellent and worth the visit. The Glass House was also good value.

Suite with Balcony

functional. Everything worked and it was comfortable. It was clean, decor was not so much dated as not very good. Balcony was small but a oft used space, totally invaluable on a cruise with so many places to visit
