Quantum is a beautiful ship. We enjoyed our days on board. There seems to be plenty of seating outside. There are 3 pools of which 2 are covered. Entertainment was good with Mama Mia being outstanding. There were only six shows in the 12-day period. On the off nights, there really wasn't much to do at night unless you are into the casino. The Concierge Lounge was on Deck 12 as aft as you could go. It was quite a walk but the room was pretty big and we got to talk to some real nice people. Dynamic Dining--NOT OUR THING! We spent days, months before we left on this cruise, trying to get all our dinners and shows booked. Every time we were set, RCCL would cancel them and we would have to rebook and correlate them again. Once we arrived on the ship, every dinner/show worked out for us but we felt sorry for those who did not know this had to be done ahead of time. The service in Dynamic Dining is NOT personalized at all. In American Icon, your meals didn't come with potato and vegetable. My husband ordered Soithern Fried Chicken and that is all he got!! He wasn't even asked if he wanted pot/veg. This is supposed to be a vacation...everyday we would have to look at our cruise calendar on the TV to see where we were eating, what time and if we had a show. Also, there are no formal nights per se. If you eat in The Grande or Wonderland, you are supposed to be formally dressed. Formal now means men need a jacket. So on any given night, people are walking around in tuxes, gowns, and shorts. For the most part, the food was good. We enjoyed Jamie Oliver's, The Grande and Chop's the most.

Beautiful Ship, but...

Cabin Review

Cabin 13266
We thought the cabin was very nice, bright and beautifully decorated. It seemed to have plenty of storage. There were comfortable chairs on the balcony. It was a pleasant experience. Bathroom is larger than most ships.
