We were persuaded by friends of ours to cruise as they have been doing it for years and found it really relaxing, we are an Australian couple in our 40s and 50s, I was looking forward to it but DH was a little anxious...

We absolutely loved it, the rooms were a lot bigger than I expected with room for luggage under bed and a very functional shower and we were amazed at the sound proofing. We felt like royalty the whole trip, we ate most of our time in the MDR, food was wonderful and our waiters and sommelier were most attentive. We had dinners in all the specialty restaurants but found that we really only like Murano the MDR food was better than Tuscan Grille or Silk Harvest. We used the buffet a few times but it always felt a little like british bulldog!

We attended trivia most days which was great fun as well as watching the House Band after dinner, they were great with a variety of different music from the 60s, motown and more contemporary music.

Deluxe Veranda 2B

Cabin 2B

Loads of room!!! no noises from any other rooms, room to put 3 cases under bed and still more room. Lots of storage in both wardrobe, drawers and bathroom for toiletries. Needed more hangers and we just asked our room attendant for some more. Beds were really comfortable as was the shower with two settings. We were closer to the front of the ship which helped keep the weight off because all the restaurants are up the other end!
