We visited Nachi Cocum Beach Club. We have been here several times in the past and it is always consistently very good. The $55 daily fee includes lunch cooked to order, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), a lounge chair and a large palapa. The chairs are hard plastic and not comfortable, but you can rent a chair cushion for $7 if desired. There is a large pool with swim up bar, hot tub, clean restrooms, water sports for a fee, and a beautiful beach. The property limits the number of guests to $100 so it never feels crowded. The drinks and food are always very very good. W-Fi is available for $5. Taxi's were $18 each way for 1 - 4 pp.

Cozumel

We really enjoyed the Crystal Cave and Lagoon! The cave was absolutely beautiful and not as crowded as we had anticipated. We have been to many caves throughout the US, but this was different. There was some old Mayan pottery and ashes from old fires in the cave, but nothing much else of historical value to see.The air-conditioned bus ride was worse than expected, however. The bus was nothing more than a stretch version of an old school bus. Those tiny seats can be very uncomfortable for 1+hr ride over bumpy road, especially with two adults sitting in each seat! If you have any back issues, you might want to look at an independent tour which has a nicer mode of transportation. The guides on the bus were pretty aggressive in their plea for tips on the ride back to port. I had planned on giving $20 each, but after the high pressure for tips I gave each guide (there were two on the bus) $5 and the rest to the bus driver. The guide that we had in the cave was not on our bus. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and seemed to appreciate the beauty in the caves. He did not pressure for tips so needless to say...he got his ;-)There are lockers available for rent at the reception area for the caves. They are $6 each. You are not allowed to leave anything on the bus. Water shoes are required, but flip flops are not allowed. You can wear sneakers if you don't mind getting them wet. If you don't have proper footwear, you will have to rent some when you get there. The reception center and gift shop will accept Visa and Master Card if you don't have cash.Lunch was included although the RCCL cruise planner did not indicate this. You will be served reb beans and rice (very yummy), chicken, and cole slaw. Fruit punch is also served. You can purchase other drinks at the bar if you have cash. There are free tastes of the wine that they sell. The Belikin Beer is very good and served nice and cold for $4/bottle. If you don't enjoy your lunch, you can also purchase nachos and mayan tacos but you will need cash for those.There are several steep sets us stairs going to/from the caves, so if you have knee, hip or foot problems then this may not be the excursion for you. You have to carry your tube for a short distance, but it is not heavy and not difficult. Our guide helped a little boy with his tube.The water in the cave is cool (not cold), clear, very slow moving and not intimidating. They will cancel the excursion if there has been recent heavy rain because the water level will be too high in the cave. If you are traveling during the rainy season or if it has been really rainy recently, you might want to have a back up plan just in case you have to change plans in a hurry.

The location of this cabin is very good. You are very close to the aft elevators. There was absolutely no noise from the elevators. The big walk-in closet is a very nice plus!

Due to the heavy traffic in the port area, we had to wait in our taxi for a good 15 minutes before we could actually reach our port.We thought that this was really good planning on our part only to find out on the day of the show that the show times had all been changed, our reservation was worthless, and there would be no more ice shows on this cruise.
