Went from Buenos Aires to Santiago-14 day. First let me point out that this is not a cheap cruise. Pricing for RS cabin and air cost close to 20k for two with insurance so my expectation was for a trip close to Sea bourn, as we had taken that line last year to Norway. I don't usually book a cabin this large but first time we were away for two weeks and wanted room to spread out. It was well worth the money, in my opinion. Arriving in BA there were lines that I was surprised to find (over a hour)especially for Suite customers. Seems the ship had to be washed down (Nor virus?) from the trip the week before and that delayed all boarding. Once on board and a day on the ship things got settled. Butler is given to us but we ended up calling him instead of the cabin attendant. Gave an extra guy a fancy name, but both worked hard to make sure we were pleased. They give you two bottles of booze your choice, and 6 mixers for them. I ran out of one mixer and was told they don't give extra. I was flabbergasted and called hotel manager whom quickly gave me my extra 2 cans of club soda. They have a special club for Suite clients called Michaels that you can go and get water or drinks anytime, so why not give this in the room where your customers stay?

Room was maintained well and animals made each night with hor dorves severed each day around 4pm in your cabin. robes were nice and I really think they tried to please even though I had to go to the boss to get assistance on occasion. Pools are both salt water which burns eyes and one is 6.2 deep. Cannot stand in it and have to hold on to rails or swim. Could not do my aerobic exercises as I do at home in Miami. Gym was large and always machines available although half the TV sets did not work on the treadmills. My biggest complaint was their internet!! IF you have to stay in touch with your business do not take this trip. I spent more time trying to get the system to come on line then I used it. I don't know why they continually charge (by the minute) when they know it doesn't work. I looked forward to shore stops and WiFi there to get things done. But will check this out first before I go on any ship in the future. Luckily I had my own cell plan with AT&T and was able to make calls on shore to clear us missed emails.

All and all the ship was good and people very attentive-food was on a 1-10 a solid 8 and I don't give high ratings. Three specialty restaurant were excellent.especially USS that they sever the main course with stainless bowls over each plate and 6 waiters came out to raise the covers at once. Old style elegance.
