MSC Divina is a beautiful ship every detail from the staircases to the marble and the decor is immpeccable. We had a balcony room so it was spacious compared to other cruise liners. There wasn't much to do for anyone whos not a gambler or wants to sit at the bar all day.. When we boarded the ship we were hoping to get into the pools however they were all drained and stayed that way with nets on them. So we ended up just touring the ship and then went to the Theatre to catch the Witches of Paris which was phenomenal. The following day we we're in the Bahamas so not sure if they had the pools open at this time but we spent most of our day off ship. After getting back on the ship at 5PM we went to our stateroom and changed, grabbed food and wanted to head to the pool and the nets were over it again. There was no gift shop or any store anytime before 9PM which I found odd. They should have soemthing open so we can purchase little things like toothbrushes, toothpaste, sun block, advil ect... Food was better at the buffet than thier specialty resturant "The Black Crap". The customer service was not what I am used to when traveling but it wasn't absolutely terrible either. Since getting off the ship I have been trying to get in contact with someone in lost and found and I have sent Emails trying to see if I had left an item behind. When I call I get sent to a voicemail only not to hear anything back from anyone and everytime I send an email I get one in return asking to allow 21 buisness days before they can tell me wether or not my item has been left on the ship? I have never been on a cruise or any hotel where it took that long to get some kind of response. I have sailed with Carnival, Disney and Royal Carribean and it was no trouble to get someone to call you back wether it be for questions regarding your bill or a lost item. I also didn't feel that the daily service fee was appropriate for the serivce we were given. Over all I will not sail the Divina but may try the other ships.
