I gotta admit - I came on this cruise with very low expectations and thank goodness I did, for I was very happy. We are seasoned Royal Caribbean and Princess cruisers and was not looking forward to this cruise.
Yes, it was a booze cruise (heck, there was a large party on board with "Booze Cruise" t-shirts printed for this trip!) but we came on this cruise to party with a large group of friends so we expected this.
What I didn't expect? A clean, well maintained ship with a spectacular staff. Never ever once did we smell any foul odors or witness any obnoxious drunken behavior.
Typical small cabin with dirty window. We heard no noise whatsoever at night, so that's a good thing. We had a beautiful view of the Queen Mary on 1st and last day. Three nice size closets and a few drawers in the desk. There are shelves in one of the closets, as well as a safe. There is plenty of room for your clothes for a short cruise. Our room steward, Supri, kept us stocked up on ice the entire weekend. He was on the ball, but almost invisible - we rarely saw him.
