This was a first cruise, river or otherwise, for my husband and I. We had a fabulous experience and have told all of our friends that they are missing an amazing opportunity to see the world, eat wonderful food, meet interesting people, see many, many sites with a close-up view and relax with everything taken care of.

The tours were well planned and well hosted. The on-board special events were exceptional. We had a French balcony which may be small to some people but we did not plan this cruise to stay in our room. We found it well designed, compact and very efficient.

We highly recommend Viking and this route. The Idi was making its maiden voyage which only added to the charm of the whole experience. We highly recommend.
