I was part of a group of 15. I cruise twice a year and this is my 4th cruise with Carnival. The food, both in the dining room and buffet, was mediocre, at best. Two of us got sick on the oysters on different nights. The buffet closed early and often, only half the buffet was open, making for very long lines. Guy's Burgers were delicious, but that, too, closed early in the evening. The only food available for late night eating was the pizza bar or self serve soft ice cream. But it often was a 2 hour wait for a slice of pizza. Room service took forever...that is, if you could even get them to answer the phone. The room service overload was probably due to not having food available anywhere else. I have never been on a cruise line with such a limited selection and availability of food. We did not meet our cabin steward until the 3rd day of the cruise, and that was only because I called housekeeping about something. We have always had our steward come knock on our door the afternoon we sail, and introduce himself/herself and inquire as to any special needs we might have. He was very cordial, but we were not demanding guests, so we seldom saw him, even to say good morning. The entertainment was not too impressive. I never saw the cruise director, who on other cruises was always very visible and interacted with the guests all the time. The shops opened late in the morning, making it necessary to buy sundries on shore. At times the shops on board even closed at 6:30 pm. The ports of call were wonderful. Half Moon Cay is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever visited, and

I have traveled extensively, especially in the Caribbean. Even though we were pleased with our previous Carnival ships, our Carnival Glory experience was a disappointment, and there was not one of our group of 15 seasoned cruisers, who is likely to cruise with Carnival again.

Cabin 4A

This is the smallest cabin I have ever had on a cruise ship...not even a chair to sit on. The cabin had ample storage space and was well maintained by our canin steward, although we seldom saw him.
