My husband and I celebrated our 15th anniversary with a kids-free cruise through the Eastern Mediterranean on the beautiful MSC Preziosa. We had initially booked an aft cabin (with a juliet balcony) but decided to upgrade to Yacht Club some seven months before the cruise. We are glad we did as it booked out shortly after and we thoroughly enjoyed the additional space and luxury of the Yacht Club. Neither of us enjoy crowds and the ship can be very busy in the peak summer months!

This was our first cruise and was pretty much absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed the eclectic mix of passengers, language and cultures. The ship was beautiful and absolutely pristine. We didn't participate in any on-board activities and I am not aware of what was available. Our time was filled up with the ports, relaxing and enjoying this time away together without kids.

Cabin Review

Cabin Yacht Club

The cabin was spacious and well appointed. I very much enjoyed the full bath and the separate walk in wardrobe. We found that there was plenty of storage space and the bed was high enough to slide suitcases under. We particularly liked the position of our cabin as it was only a few metres from the stairs leading down to the Concierge and Top Sail Lounge on Deck 15 and a few steps from the stairs leading up to the pool and bar on Dec 18 (there is no deck 17). It was super convenient. The only drawback was being woken early when they put the deck chairs out above us. I am a very light sleeper. My husband didn't hear anything.
