Embarkation was a breeze. We were in our cabin within 15 minutes of arrival. The cabin was one of the largest we have ever sailed in. However, the bed was like a sleeping on a wooden board and the pillows were similar to the ones you get in a cheap motel.
The promenade deck was mind blowing. I have been on many cruises on many different cruise lines, this was the most outstanding promenade deck of any.
Well, lets talk about the food. Mediocre is the best I could say about it. The first night I had to send my dinner back because it was inedible. The replacement was a little better. One night duck was served and it tasted like it had suffered from freezer burn. The braised leg of lamb was overcooked. The salmon was dry. The lobster tail was perfect. The deserts were outstanding. The wine steward showed up only once at our dinner table during the Cruise. The waiter and his assistant were very good. Big problem, however is that they are understaffed in the dining room.
Cabin was very large, plenty of storage space. Beds were hard and pillows were flat, like the ones you get in a cheap motel.
